Techno Q Story | A Vision Born from Passion
Pioneering Excellence | The Techno Q Journey
It was the year 1995 when Zeyad Jaidah and Abdulla Alansari, fresh from the halls of Lamar University in Texas, set their sights back on their homeland, Qatar. Carrying with them not just degrees in mechanical engineering but a vision ignited by the cutting-edge home theatre systems they had seen in America. This duo was not just returning home; they were bringing home a dream that would soon transform into Techno Q.
The Fist Spark: The early days were filled with the kind of challenges only pioneers face. Imagine a market where the very concept they were promoting was unheard of. But Zeyad and Abdulla’s belief in the potential of audio-visual technology in residential spaces was unshakeable. They started with a small team, but what they lacked in numbers, they made up for in sheer enthusiasm and dedication. This was the humble inception of Techno Q, where every day was about learning, adapting, and inching closer to their dream.
The Turning Point: 1996 brought with it the breakthrough that would change everything. The BMW Showroom project in Doha wasn’t just a project; it was Techno Q’s proving ground. The success of this endeavor enforced their expertise and opened doors to bigger opportunities, transitioning them from residential projects to coveted commercial contracts.
Expanding Horizons: As the millennium drew to a close, Techno Q was not just surviving; it was thriving. The decision to diversify into security systems in 1997, followed by hospitality management systems in 1999, marked the evolution of Techno Q from a specialist firm to a multidisciplinary powerhouse. Each step forward was a step into uncharted territory, demanding more from the team than ever before.
Rise to Prominence: The dawn of the new millennium saw Techno Q embarking on some of its most ambitious projects. In 2001, the company crafted a sophisticated audiovisual system for Weill Cornell Medical College’s Qatar campus. This project spanned 33 rooms and 4 auditoriums, setting a new standard for AV excellence. This achievement led to more high-profile projects, including a major commission from Texas A&M University in Qatar, further cementing Techno Q’s reputation as a leader in the field.
The Legacy Continues: Today, with over 350 professionals and a sprawling operational base of 3,000m², Techno Q is a testament to the power of vision and perseverance. Handling 150 projects annually. The company’s influence can be seen in landmarks like the Qatar National Museum, Lusail Stadium, Qatar National Convention Center, and more. Techno Q is not just a company; it’s a legacy of pushing boundaries and setting benchmarks.
As you turn through the pages of our history, you witness more than just the growth of a company; you witness the evolution of a vision that began in the hearts of two young engineers.
