Techno Q as a business was created out of our mutual passion for the engineering profession. We love to design, solve, create, integrate, and engineer. We are a full-service system integrator whose foremost passion is the integration of low current system solutions. Because we have been around since 1996 our passion has only grown stronger. While our focus is still on the audiovisual solutions, over the years we have expanded to include additional business units to our portfolio. We specialize in providing the very best solutions for our clients’ requirements, making technology easily accessible for equipping facilities of the most vital institutions and businesses in the region. Techno Q’s success over the years has been down to the fact that we’ve made it our business to develop as the industry has progressed. We’ve always been at the forefront of technology and been among the first companies to bring new products to market.

With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Elie Yaacoub is an accomplished Chief Financial Officer renowned for his strategic acumen in the financial management of companies across the construction, manufacturing, Medical and facility management sectors.

Based in Doha, Qatar, Elie has expertly navigated financial landscapes in numerous countries, including the UAE, Kuwait, France, Egypt, Iraq. delivering robust financial strategies and ensuring stringent compliance with tax and legal regulations.

Elie commenced his career in 2001, initially serving as an External Auditor with Ernest & Young - Semaan Gholam BDO - JV in Lebanon, where he mastered the intricacies of financial reporting and auditing standards. This foundation paved the way for his role as Financial Controller at NINI Hospital in Lebanon, where from 2005 to 2006, he significantly enhanced the financial reporting mechanisms and internal control systems.

In 2007, Elie ascended to a pivotal role as Senior Financial Manager at JH Construction W.L.L in Qatar, directing a dedicated team in comprehensive financial oversight, risk management, and strategic stakeholder engagement. His trajectory continued upwards when he assumed the position of CFO at Benta Pharma Industries Group in 2015, overseeing the financial functions of a globally integrated enterprise in the healthcare sector.

By 2019, Elie had taken on the role of Financial Manager at Al Jaber Engineering affiliates in Qatar, where he restructured financial operations and drove profitability through strategic mergers and rigorous cost-control measures. In 2023, Elie embraced the challenge of serving as CFO for Techno Q, steering the company through expansive growth initiatives, including forming strategic alliances and broadening service offerings in KSA.

Elie’s academic credentials are equally impressive, featuring a Doctorate in Business Administration from Toulouse Business School, France, a master’s degree in finance, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Audit, both from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK). Known for his meticulous attention to detail, resilience, and unwavering ethical standards, Elie continues to foster a culture of continuous improvement and strategic innovation.

A man of many interests, Elie is passionate about travel, gastronomy, and nature, which not only enrich his personal life but also enhance his global perspective and leadership approach.

Jaikrishna Pillai

Head of Strategy at Techno Q

Jaikrishna Pillai has been a key member of Techno Q since December 2008, currently holding the position of Head of Strategy after formerly managing both Lighting Projects and Retail. His expertise has been rooted in devising and implementing robust sales strategies and leading teams to exceed sales objectives. Jaikrishna's approach involves a keen understanding of market demands, allowing him to adapt strategies for increasing market share and achieving revenue benchmarks.

Adept at forging significant channel partnerships, Jaikrishna has been instrumental in revitalizing distribution networks, appointing key dealers in strategic locations, and enhancing infrastructure to support new channels—thereby optimizing overall performance. His ability to cultivate and maintain solid relationships with clients, coupled with his talent for syncing cross-functional departments towards common goals, has played a pivotal role in driving business growth.

Jaikrishna's leadership extends beyond strategy, embodying effective communication and a commitment to the professional development of his team. This includes ensuring the sales team not only meets but surpasses their goals through regular evaluation and adjustment of strategies, fostering an environment conducive to skill development, and spearheading the recruitment and retention of top-tier talent.

Before his tenure at Techno Q, Jaikrishna honed his skills in sales spanning a decade across notable companies like TTK Pharma, G.E. Lighting, and Osram. He brought to Techno Q a wealth of experience gained in these varied roles, enriching the company's strategic approach to sales and market expansion.

Jaikrishna's academic foundation is as impressive as his professional trajectory. He earned his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in 1995 from the University of Allahabad, India, followed by an MBA specializing in Marketing from the University of Bangalore, India, in 1998. He further expanded his knowledge base with a Diploma in Marketing Management from NMIMS, Mumbai, India, in 1999.

His commitment to continuous personal and professional growth is underscored by his participation in various certificate training programs. These include a Leadership Training Program by TPCL, an Internal Leadership Development Program organized by GE's Training Department, a course on Etiquette for Excellent Customer Service by Spearhead Training, and a Certificate Course on "Management: In Pursuit of Excellence" conducted by the Qatar Skills Academy.
